Advt. No. Pro-64 (2018) for one post of Research Associate for CSIR, New Delhi, sponsored Project entitled ​“Molecular and morphological diversity of photobionts associated with parmelioid lichens in Indian Himalaya.”

Initially for one year, extendable by one more year based on performance and availability of the funds.

In accordance with current UGC guidelines on emoluments for RA (Rs. 36000, 38000 or 40000- as recommended by the selection committee- + 10% HRA).

Experience in taxonomy of algae/​lichens. Experience with DNA Barcoding/​DNA Taxonomy would be an asset. Candidates with high quality published papers will be preferred.
