As part of Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Govt of India funded project Shallow water benthic communities and food-web dynamics: a case for Kakinada Bay and coastal Andhra Pradesh ‘, a position of Junior Research Fellow is open in the Integrative Taxonomy and Microbial Ecology Research Group, Department of Biological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata [IISERK].

Duration

The position will be initially for a period of one year.

Qualification

Candidates with M.Sc. in Botany/​Marine Science/​Microbiology/​Marine Biology/​Environmental Science and having some exposure in algal taxonomy as well as willing to undertake rigorous field work can appear for the walk-in interview. Candidate should be NET/NET-LS/GATE qualified.

The walk-in interview will be held on 1st August, 2017.

Reporting place for the interview: Room 218, Research Complex, IISER Kolkata, Mohanpur campus. 

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
